Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our team in Villa Park, IL. You will work with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic team, focus on merchandising, and manage freight flow and processes to ensure a top-notch shopping experience.

This role requires strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced store environment and handle physical tasks such as lifting and restocking.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform related physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including restrooms.
• Provide a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and teammates.
• Other duties as assigned.
