Dollar Tree Stores in Worth, IL is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will support store operations, maintain standards, and uphold safety and policy compliance.

You’ll oversee stock, fixtures, and displays, manage receipts and freight flow, and help plan monthly merchandising activities while delivering friendly service to customers and leadership to associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Keep the store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
