Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Parma, OH, to work alongside the Store Manager. You will lead a dynamic team, focus on merchandising, and oversee freight processing to ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.

The role requires strong communication, interpersonal and written skills, and physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs. You’ll contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy team environment and uphold company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and daily activities.
• Open and close procedures.
• Protect company assets, including store cash.
• Maintain store areas to company standards.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow according to productivity standards.
• Stock and merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and merchandise Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
