Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Paragould, AR, to join the store leadership team. You will assist the Store Manager to lead a dynamic group of associates and focus on merchandising and processing freight.

Key duties include opening/closing, asset protection, and maintaining store standards, with emphasis on teamwork, safety, and customer service. This role supports a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
