Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in Farmington, AR to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and driving merchandising and freight processing. You will help manage daily store operations, maintain presentation standards, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for customers and associates.

The role requires retail and some management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (stockroom and sales floor).
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure a presentable appearance of all areas.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
