Job summary

Total Wine & More in Overland Park, Kansas, seeks a seasonal Merchandiser to maximize inventory, stock shelves, and support online orders, curbside pickup, and delivery as needed.

You will greet customers, build relationships, and promote products while completing cross-functional tasks. Training on wine, spirits, and beer is provided; safety and legal compliance are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling and stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, placing signage, and supporting digital business operations.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store and ensure compliance with laws related to sale of alcohol.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
• Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures.
