Marshalls in Springfield, OH is seeking a customer-focused store associate to deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You will engage with customers, support merchandising and loss-prevention standards, and help keep the store clean and organized while cross-training across areas as needed.

Ideal candidates bring strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills; a flexible schedule; and the ability to lift items as required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
