Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering great community experiences. You’ll focus on merchandising, freight processing, and daily store operations to drive sales and efficiency.

You’ll partner with leadership to plan, stock, and present merchandise, maintain safety and cleanliness, and ensure a positive, fast-paced environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Manage freight flow and merchandise needs.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain sales floor with sales-effective items.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety and ensure a presentable environment.
