Job summary

You will help with opening/closing procedures, asset protection, policy adherence, and maintaining presentation standards on the floor and in the stockroom.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and related communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentability throughout the store.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Assist Store Manager with listed duties as assigned.
• Process receipt/return of DSD merchandise and manage freight flow.
• Order and stock merchandise including frozen/refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandised.
• Plan and maintain Clip Strips/Power Panels and monthly Sales Planners.
