Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager in New Hampshire to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You will focus on merchandising and freight processing while maintaining store standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include opening/closing duties, asset protection, stockroom upkeep, and executing directives to drive sales.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process all corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Assist Store Manager with additional duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels with items.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
