Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to partner with the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering excellent customer experiences. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight while ensuring shop floors and stockrooms meet company standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with store operations, opening/closing procedures, asset protection, and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, and waste areas.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
