Dollar Tree Stores in Brattleboro, VT is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join our store leadership. You’ll work with the Store Manager, guiding a team of associates and focusing on merchandising and processing freight.

Responsibilities include assisting with all store functions, opening/closing procedures, maintaining stockroom and sales floor standards, and ensuring a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Prior retail management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical store duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms and floors.
• Foster a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
