You will focus on executing store functions, maintaining product presentation, and ensuring a safe, engaging shopping environment for customers and associates alike. This role requires strong communication and leadership in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical duties as described.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Open and close procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock as needed.
• Ensure a positive, safe environment for customers and associates.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow according to productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise, including frozen & refrigerated.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective and merchandise plan is followed.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain clips, strips, and panels with promotional items.
