Dollar Tree is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive customer experiences. You will focus on merchandising and processing freight, while supporting daily store operations.

The role includes opening/closing duties, asset protection, policy compliance, and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation. A fast-paced, team-oriented environment is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restocking, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
