Job summary

The Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Ohio is seeking a Merchandiser to present Coca‑Cola products at retail locations, service multiple accounts, and follow planograms and quality guidelines.

You will move products from backrooms to shelves, create and place point-of-sale materials, and build relationships with store personnel to maximize sales opportunities. Ideal candidates are able to lift 50 lbs, communicate effectively, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs repeatedly).
• Able to work reliably and independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Company provided cell phone is offered.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and shelf per procedures and programs.
• Moves product from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point-of-sale materials on display and shelving and rotates product; checks vendor operation.
• Organizes back room by stacking and arranging product, managing returns and damaged/out-of-date stock.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through follow-up on requests, proactive pricing, programs, and opportunities.
