Job summary

Bernick’s is seeking a part-time merchandiser to cover a routed set of accounts in greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin, including Elk River. You will restock, rotate, face, and remove outdated product, and you’ll design attractive displays on shelves and coolers across multiple stores.

You will manage an individualized route, hold a valid driver’s license, and lift 50–100 pounds regularly. Mileage reimbursement applies, and travel to other Bernick’s locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and driving record meeting Bernick’s standards.
• Reliable, insured transportation with mileage reimbursement at 0.64$/mile.
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision.
• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Repetitively bend, lift, twist while moving product.
• Effective communication with store associates.
• Travel may be required to support Bernick’s locations.
• Team may handle regulated products including alcohol, nicotine, pork.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Our merchandisers are a very important part of making sure our accounts are looking their best. They cover an individualized route of various accounts and are responsible for restocking, rotating, facing, and removing outdated product. Merchandisers neatly organize store shelves, coolers, and design creative displays in our accounts such as: convenient stores, grocery stores, or other large customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment provided
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition

Hours: Part-Time (10-20 hours)

Requirements

• Have a valid driver’s license; driving record which meets Bernick’s standard

• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:
