Job summary

Bernick’s is seeking a part-time merchandiser to service multiple locations in Buffalo, MN. You will stock shelves, rotate products, and create attractive displays in convenience and grocery stores.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift 50–100 pounds. Travel to support various Bernick’s locations may be required. Hours range from 10–20 per week, every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Have a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets Bernick’s standard.
• Reliable, insured transportation to be used while working (mileage reimbursement at 64 cents per mile).
• Ability to operate under minimal supervision.
• Regularly lift and move product weighing 50–100 pounds.
• Repetitively bend, lift, twist while moving product.
• Effectively communicate with store associates.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts.
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf.
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment provided.
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts.
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition.

Job Summary:

Our merchandisers are a very important part of making sure our accounts are looking their best. They cover an individualized route of various accounts and are responsible for restocking, rotating, facing, and removing outdated product. Merchandisers neatly organize store shelves, coolers, and design creative displays in our accounts such as: convenient stores, grocery stores, or other large customer accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Merchandise store shelving, coolers and displays with products in assigned accounts
• Rotate products in the backroom and on the shelf
• Transport products to and from backroom to shelf location using equipment provided
• Display promotional material such as signs and banners in accounts
• Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition

Hours: Part-Time (10-20 hours)

• E very other weekend

Requirements

• Travel may be required as part of this role to support various Bernick’s locations, events, or business needs. A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be conducted as part of the hiring process and evaluated in relation to the requirements of the role.
• Team members in this position may be required to handle, move, and work with a variety of products, including alcoholic beverages, nicotine products, pork products, and other regulated consumer goods.

Base Compensation:

$17-$20/hr
