Job summary

RedBull Distribution Company, Inc. is seeking a Merchandiser Lead to effectively service large format retailers in Minnesota. You will ensure stock is maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly, and you will uphold safety and quality standards across the point of sale.

You will also train staff, cover shifts in the absence of the Merchandising Manager, and collaborate with Sales to grow the RedBull brand while maintaining premium presentation.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a valid US driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• English required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Merchandisers across geography and footprint to maximize service.
• Complete on-boarding of new merchandisers and certify readiness.
• Act as main merchandising point of contact when Merchandising Manager is absent.
• Ensure products are rotated and maintained per rotation standards.
• Maintain equipment in premium condition and compliant with standards.
• Keep mileage and training records up to date.
• Execute merchandising processes and routines.
• Evaluate competitor activities and communicate with sales team.
• Build and grow RedBull product portfolio.
• Notify Account Sales Manager for pick up or exchange of damaged/out-of-code products.

Job description

The primary role of the Merchandiser Lead (ML) is to effectively service all customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner by ensuring proper level of stock is maintained, displayed and rotated correctly at all large format retailers. This individual will also support the Merchandising Manager with training and off day coverage.

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

• Support Merchandisers based on geography and footprint to maximize service, communications, and engagement
• Complete on-boarding of new merchandiser(s), certify readiness and ensure adherence to RedBull merchandising standards
• In the absence of Merchandising Manager, duties include but not limited to main merchandising point of contact and communication with merchandising team, route coverage and/or rescheduling/rerouting to ensure service levels are maintained
• Ensure RedBull products are properly rotated and maintained in accordance with product rotation standards thereby minimizing Out of Code and Damaged Product concerns
• Ensure that all RedBull equipment is set to current standards, clean, in good working order, and presented in a premium manner
• Maintain records required for compliance with internal policy up to and including mileage records, trainings and other records required by law
• Execute and adhere to RedBull merchandising processes and routines
• Evaluate all competitors’ activities such as new launches and price reductions and communicate with Merchandising Manager or other members of sales team
• Build, protect, and grow the RedBull product portfolio
• Notify appropriate Account Sales Manager for pick up and / or exchange of any dented, damaged, or out of code product, as well as any out-of-stock items, and Quality Point of Distribution (QPOD) opportunities
• Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with retail managers of accounts
• Collaborate with sales team members in executing new programs and selling in large displays
• Work collaboratively across the organization and share best practices
• Lead by example and adhere to Company standards & RedBull Values
• Professional representation of the company and RedBull brand through responsible driving and in market presence

• Prior merchandising experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A valid US Driver's License
• Reliable vehicle to be used for work purposes with at least the minimum insurance coverage
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays necessary
• English; additional languages an advantage
