Job summary

Total Wine & More is hiring Store Team Members referred to as Merchandisers to maximize product inventory, support online orders, and provide exceptional customer service. Roles include merchandising, occasional sales/front-end tasks, and reporting to store management. Training in wine, spirits, and beer is provided.

Responsibilities include stocking, signage, fulfilling online orders, curbside pickup, and possible delivery. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience, 1+ years in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Maximize product inventory, process freight, stock merchandise, and build displays
• Deliver exceptional service and greet customers to build relationships
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Ensure safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
• Load and deliver orders safely if delivery is an essential function
