Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in South Bend, IN is seeking a Merchandiser to present products attractively at customer retail locations and service multiple bulk accounts. You will merchandise approved products, follow plan sets and planograms, and communicate with store management and cross-functional teams.

You must have clear communication, prior retail customer service experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid in-state driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Proof of insurance policy to verify current coverage of liability and property damage may be required.
• Prior customer service experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelve where permitted; rotates product and checks vendor operation.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor, and manages returns and damaged goods.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests, pricing, programs, and upcoming activities.
