Job summary

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace, seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more while showcasing organization and time management skills.

Roles involve servicing stores on assigned routes, keeping backstock organized, and collaborating with store management.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Access to reliable internet to receive updates.
• Able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Must be able to meet scheduling needs including weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and handle inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate questions or concerns about service or schedules to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment using time management and organization skills.
• Build positive relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Support additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly.
