Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations across Ohio. You will display and maintain product, organize backrooms, and coordinate with store teams during daytime hours, especially around holidays.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; the role emphasizes reliability, English communication, and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Transportation and internet access are needed.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• English reading/writing/understanding required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation
• Reliable transportation required for multiple locations
• Reliable internet access for updates and training
• Computer tablet usage proficiency required
• Willingness to work weekends and holiday periods as needed

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations
• Maintain organized backroom areas and inventories
• Communicate scheduling questions or concerns to management
• Work in fast-paced retail environment with strong time management
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours
• Possibility of additional days and extended hours around major holidays
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product movement
• Plan weekly schedules and workload using a company tablet
• Work independently and with a team
