Job summary

American Greetings in Toledo is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations on a predictable daytime route. You will display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, and related merchandise, while keeping backroom areas organized and inventory current.

The role emphasizes independence, time management, and customer-ready presentation on the sales floor. Training is provided, shifts include weekends and holidays as needed, with competitive hourly pay starting

Qualifications

• Must speak, read, write and understand English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations.
• Reliable internet for updates and training.
• Able to learn and use company-provided tablet.
• Occasional weekends, days before/after major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backrooms.
• Communicate questions or schedule issues to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Possibility of additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, and product assembly as needed.
• Review weekly schedule and workload in assigned stores using a tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.
