Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Merchandiser to service retail routes across Denison, Schleswig, Dunlap and Woodbine, IA, maintaining greeting card departments and backrooms with strong time management.

You will work independently on assigned routes, with paid training, a flexible schedule, and a company 401(k) match. Starting pay is $13.50/hour with planned increases to $14.30 and $15.00 over the first year.

Qualifications

• Merchandising experience in retail environments.
• Ability to work independently across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate with management about service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, relocation or removal as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
