Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a merchandiser to service stores on assigned routes in Lemont and Homer Glen, IL. You will merchandise, display greeting cards and related goods, and coordinate with store staff to keep backrooms organized.

The role emphasizes independent work with daily route planning and time management. Flexible scheduling and paid training are provided, along with a 401(k) match, to support seasonal demand and holiday periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and on-route store service.
• Able to manage time effectively and stay organized in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication with store staff and management when scheduling or issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display product in greeting card departments and maintain backroom areas.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns to management.
• Work with store associates during daytime hours and around peak holidays.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours before/after major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixtures, and product relocation as needed.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
