Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Merchandiser to present products at retailer locations, service multiple bulk accounts, and follow planograms while maintaining safety guidelines. You will rotate stock, create displays, and build relationships with store personnel, working in a fast-paced environment.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required; lifting up to 50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Effective communication including listening, speaking, and writing.
• Retail customer service experience preferred.
• Merchandisers must have excellent interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repetitively).
• Able to work reliably with little daily supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and programs.
• Moves products from backroom to display area.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials and rotates product on shelves.
• Maintains back room organization and handles damaged/out-of-date products.
• Builds and maintains relationships with store personnel and discusses opportunities with management.
