Greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to products or to a parts specialist, and check out customers while deterring shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked, fronted, and clean, and complete sales preparations.

Essential Job Functions

1. Merchandiser
2. Greet customers, assist with merchandise location or direct to parts specialists.
3. Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
4. Maintain merchandise displays, update signage, and ensure sales materials are in place.
5. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
6. Work with the manager on store tasks and security to prevent theft.
7. Participate in O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
8. Follow clock-in/out policies.
9. Cashier
10. Quickly and friendly check out customers and handle returns.
11. Assist customers at the register, including taking payments and finishing tickets.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

• Required: Good interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and aptitude for number sequences.
• Desired: Previous cashier or stock experience, ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish preferred).
