Greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to products or to a parts specialist, and check out customers while deterring shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked and organized, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparations.

Essential Job Functions

1. Merchandiser
2. Greet customers, assist with locating merchandise, or direct them to a parts specialist if needed.
3. Check in, price, and display stock.
4. Maintain merchandise display, ensure cleanliness, and update displays according to guidelines.
5. Update pricing and signage, and manage sale materials.
6. Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
7. Collaborate with management on store tasks.
8. Act as the main deterrent against shoplifting and ensure front floor security.
9. Support O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
10. Clock in/out as per company policy.

Cashier

1. Check out customers efficiently and courteously.
2. Handle merchandise returns professionally.
3. Assist with checkout duties during busy times, including processing payments and finishing tickets.

Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities

• Good aptitude for number sequences, interpersonal communication, and organization.

Desired Qualifications

• Previous cashier and stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
