Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and friendly cashier to join our team at a fast-paced, high-volume family entertainment center. In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing the cash register, and providing excellent customer service to all guests. Additionally, you will take orders, prepare food, and ensure the restaurant remains clean and organized. This position offers commissions based on sales of race packages and tips when assigned to the Paddock lounge.

Job Responsibilities

1. Greet customers and process their orders through the cash register.
2. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints professionally, in person and over the phone.
3. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
4. Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and reconcile the cash register at the end of each shift.
5. Take orders, prepare food, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
6. Keep the Paddock lounge clean and organized, including stocking, sweeping, mopping, and wiping surfaces.
7. Coordinate and schedule races efficiently and accurately.
8. Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales.
9. Promote and sell race packages to customers, earning commissions based on cashier sales percentages.
10. Assist with other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience in cash handling or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to obtain a Food Handlers Certificate and Alcohol Handlers Card post-hire.
