A leading company in the automotive parts industry is seeking a customer-focused individual for a cashier role. Responsibilities include greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and maintaining the sales floor. Greet customers on the sales floor, direct them to products or to a parts specialist. Check out customers and deter shoplifters. Keep the front area stocked and fronted, stock merchandise according to planograms or displays, and complete sales preparation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
Maintain merchandise on the display floor, ensuring it is fronted, full, and clean daily.
Make display changes following company guidelines and planograms.
Update all out-front price changes and ensure sale signs are in place.
Stock the sales flyer rack and ensure sufficient quantities of sale merchandise are on display.
Remove sale materials and restore original pricing after sales end.
Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
Collaborate with the manager to complete store To-Do List and weekly team tasks.
Act as the primary deterrent against shoplifting and serve as front floor security.
Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
Clock in and out according to company policy.
Check out customers purchasing merchandise quickly and courteously.
Handle merchandise returns efficiently and friendly.
Assist customers at the express lane when not in use, including completing tickets and processing payments.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Good aptitude for number sequences, strong interpersonal communication, and organizational skills.
Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
