Job summary

Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling is seeking a route merchandiser to stock, rotate and display products at grocery stores and beverage outlets across Santa Barbara and nearby areas. You will move products using pallet jacks and hand trucks, and use our routing tools to ensure compliant, efficient account execution.

The role requires 0–6 months of general work experience, a valid driver's license with reliable personal transportation, and the ability to lift 25–50 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or as required by state law.
• Must have reliable personal automobile transportation with valid driver's license and adequate auto insurance.
• Able to lift, push and pull products 25–50 pounds regularly.
• 0 to 6 months of general work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport products between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkout tasks and upload photos documenting execution in accounts.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
