Job summary

Imperial Distributors, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented merchandiser in Arkansas to manage in-store displays and planograms, ensuring correct pricing and placement across aisles.

You will collaborate with store staff, travel as needed, and maintain a daytime Monday–Friday schedule with reliable transportation. Strong teamwork and customer-service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of merchandising or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence and memos.
• Strong verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic with dollars and common units.
• Own reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Read and implement planograms.
• Set up displays per planograms for seasonal and promotional items.
• Sign displays.
• Ensure proper pricing of products.
• Load products on display.
• Set up and reconfigure inline sections as directed using planograms.
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of inline departments.
• Assist with introduction and cut-in of new items.
• Ensure customer satisfaction with Imperial.

Essential Responsibilities/Duties Include:

• Read and implement planograms
• Set-up displays in accordance with planograms for seasonal and promotional product
• Sign displays
• Ensure proper pricing of product
• Load product on display
• Setup and re configure in-line sections as directed utilizing established planogram
• Provide merchandising support, including pack-out and maintenance of in-line departments, set-up of promotional and sales displays, and introduction and cut-in of new items.
• Assure customer satisfaction with Imperial
• Other duties as needed

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Travel required, must have reliable transportation

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising is preferred.
• Basic computer skills – requiring able to use a log in and password and follow simple instructions.
• Knowledge of product and/or experience with merchandising general merchandise or health and beauty care products preferred.
• Ability to read and write short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
