Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans and displays per company directives.
• Maintain inventory levels and rotate stock for freshness.
• Build relationships with store managers and staff.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings.
• Ensure Iberia Foods products are well-stocked and displayed.
• Set up promotional materials and POS displays.
• Identify opportunities for incremental sales with sales reps.
• Complete reports including inventory counts and store visits.
• Travel to locations within assigned territory.

Job Summary

The Merchandiser at Iberia Foods is responsible for ensuring optimal product placement, presentation, and stock levels within retail environments to maximize sales and brand visibility. This role involves building strong relationships with store personnel and executing merchandising strategies effectively.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans and directives provided by Iberia Foods, ensuring accurate product placement, pricing, and promotional displays.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels on shelves, rotating stock to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with store managers and relevant retail staff.
• Monitor competitor activities and report findings to management.
• Ensure all Iberia Foods products are clean, well-stocked, and prominently displayed according to company standards.
• Set up and maintain promotional materials, point-of-sale displays, and other marketing collateral.
• Identify opportunities for incremental sales and communicate them to sales representatives.
• Accurately complete and submit required reports, including inventory counts, display compliance, and store visits.
• Travel to various retail locations within an assigned territory.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
• Proven experience in merchandising, retail, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., email, reporting tools).
