Job summary

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, seeks a Merchandiser for our Glen Burnie, MD facility. You will service accounts, ensure proper shelf placement, and build strong relationships with store managers on a daily basis.

You will rotate products, set up displays, and monitor pricing while following safety guidelines. A valid driver's license is required and the company offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years merchandising or sales experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
• Own vehicle and state minimum insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify shelf prices.
• Build, merchandise and maintain secondary and promotional displays.
• Merchandise and fill coolers, vendors and racks.
• Call on each account as scheduled.
• Develop and maintain rapport with each account.
• Manage back-stock and organize damaged product.
• Relay customer requests to supervisor.
• Attend meetings and training sessions.
• Follow safety guidelines and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our team at our Glen Burnie, MD facility. A leader in the beverage industry, we are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. As an integral part of the team, you will contribute to sales goals by merchandising and servicing assigned accounts.

Other roles and responsibilities include:

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify correct shelf prices.
• Build, merchandise and maintain all secondary and promotional displays to conform to company standards.
• Merchandise and fill all coolers, vendors and rack to standard on every visit (if applicable).
• Call on each account as scheduled.
• Create, develop and maintain a strong rapport in every account.
• Manage, rotate and maintain back-stock where applicable.
• Collect and organize damaged product into designated area.
• Call in all customer requests to your immediate supervisor.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and be an active participant.
• Attend all training sessions.
• Follow all company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Certification:

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Two years merchandising/sales and/or customer contact experience.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.

Merchandisers are required to use their own personal vehicles and maintain state minimum vehicle insurance.

Canada Dry offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.05 with opportunity for overtime and holiday premium pay.
