Job summary

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, is seeking a Merchandiser to service accounts at our Landover, MD facility. You will maintain shelves, build displays, stock coolers, and call on each account as scheduled to support sales goals.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 2 years of merchandising/sales or customer contact experience. Weekend work and own vehicle are required. Competitive hourly pay with overtime and benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify shelf prices

• Merchandise and stock coolers, vendors and racks
• Call on accounts as scheduled and develop rapport
• Manage back-stock and damaged products
• Communicate requests to supervisor and attend trainings and meetings
• Follow safety guidelines and perform other duties as needed

Canada Dry, a member of the Honickman Companies, has an exciting opportunity for a Merchandiser to join our team at our Landover, MD facility. A leader in the beverage industry, we are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented team player who is committed to the success of our customers. As an integral part of the team, you will contribute to sales goals by merchandising and servicing assigned accounts.

Other Roles And Responsibilities Include

• Maintain shelving, rotate products and verify correct shelf prices.
• Build, merchandise and maintain all secondary and promotional displays to conform to company standards.
• Merchandise and fill all coolers, vendors and rack to standard on every visit (if applicable).
• Call on each account as scheduled.
• Create, develop and maintain a strong rapport in every account.
• Manage, rotate and maintain back-stock where applicable.
• Collect and organize damaged product into designated area.
• Call in all customer requests to your immediate supervisor.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and be an active participant.
• Attend all training sessions.
• Follow all company and customer safety guidelines and policies.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience, Education, Certification

• Equivalent of a high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must maintain a valid Driver's License.
• Two years merchandising/sales and/or customer contact experience.
• Office equipment including, but not limited to, computer, phone, fax machine, copier and calculator.
• MS Office including Word and Excel.

Requirements/Background

• Pre-employment drug and background screening.
• Own a vehicle with valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proof of valid car insurance, including the declarations page.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Merchandisers are required to use their own personal vehicles and maintain state minimum vehicle insurance.
Canada Dry offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.20 with opportunity for overtime and holiday premium pay. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision.
