Job summary

The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium in Toledo, OH is seeking a part‑time Merchandise Supervisor to oversee daily merchandise operations and staff scheduling. You will assign tasks, safeguard inventory levels, and foster a positive guest experience.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has a HS diploma or GED, experience with Counterpoint and inventory control, and strong communication skills. Flexible schedule—5 days/week including some holidays—is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• A High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Counterpoint register system and Inventory control experience is required.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Ability to learn and execute a concept, multitask and delegate.
• Must have the physical ability to lift 35 pounds, work on your feet, and be able to walk the Zoo grounds for several hours at a time.
• Individuals may also be exposed to inclement weather conditions such as heat in the summer or low temperatures in the winter at the outdoor stands.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, 5 days a week, Monday-Sunday, including some holidays.
• The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.
