Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Merchandise Manager in Lapeer, MI to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. You will ensure pricing accuracy, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong workload planning.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, managing ship-from-store fulfillment, inventory control, and staff development while maintaining asset protection and high service

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOP adherence.
• Ensure execution of company policies and standards.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and prioritize daily tasks with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution and visual merchandising.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and shrink reduction.
• Execute ad sets, pricing changes, and promotional signage.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN receiving.
• Train and coach team members; develop assigned departments.
• Partner in Asset Protection practices.
