Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Merchandise Stocker in Jacksonville, FL. This role focuses on in-store service, inventory replenishment, and delivering exceptional customer support across high-volume stores. A valid driver's license is required.

You will cover service calls when teammates are away, manage stocking and merchandising, and help keep aisles clean and accurately labeled. Woodgrain offers health benefits, 401k, PTO, holidays, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong customer service and merchandising skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform in-store service, manage inventory replenishment and provide customer service in high-volume stores.
• Cover service calls when reps are away or on vacation.
• CLEANING: recover aisle condition since last service.
• STRAIGHTENING STOCK: restock bins and resolve bin contamination.
• STOCKING: pack out freight from weeks orders.
• CULLING: remove damaged/unsellable material and issue credits.
• MERCHANDISING: maintain signage and pricing; adjust displays.
• ORDERING: replenish inventory according to guidelines.
• CUSTOMER INTERACTION: build relationships with store management and associates.
• PROJECTS AND TASKS: merchandising projects assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:

• Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high volume national account stores
• Cover service calls when regular service representatives are away or on vacation
  
  • CLEANING:Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
  • STRAIGHTENING STOCK:Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
  • STOCKING:Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
  • CULLING:Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
  • MERCHANDISING:Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
  • ORDERING:Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
  • CUSTOMER INTERACTION:Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.
  • PROJECTS AND TASKS:Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores

What you need to have:

• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and your own vehicle.
• This position is very labor intensive and requires the ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
