Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a FT Merchandise Stocker in Gaithersburg, MD to perform in-store service and manage inventory replenishment within high-volume national account stores.

This labor-intensive role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong customer interaction skills. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform in-store service, manage inventory replenishment and stocking.
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory for quick access.
• Restock bins/displays, resolve bin contamination, and issue credits electronically.
• Maintain signage and pricing to best practice; interact with store management.
• Replenish inventory according to guidelines and complete merchandising projects.
• Complete tasks and resets of Woodgrain products in stores.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:

• Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high volume national account stores
• THIS IS A LABOR INTESIVE POSITION
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
  
  • CLEANING: Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
  • STRAIGHTENING STOCK: Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
  • STOCKING: Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
  • CULLING: Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
  • MERCHANDISING: Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
  • ORDERING: Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
  • CUSTOMER INTERACTION: Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.
  • PROJECTS AND TASKS: Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores

What you need to have:
