Job summary

Woodgrain in Baltimore is seeking a full-time Merchandise Stocker to support high-volume stores with stocking, inventory replenishment, and strong customer service. The role requires physical labor and a valid driver’s license for travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and your own vehicle.
• Labor intensive role requiring ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform in-store service, manage inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generate weekly credits and provide exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high-volume national account stores.
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.
• Clean and restore aisle condition; re-stock bins/displays; resolve bin contamination.
• Cull damaged/unsellable material and issue credit electronically.
• Merchandise: maintain signage and pricing; move backers to improve perception.
• Replenish inventory according to guidelines; build relationships with store management and associates.
• Complete merchandising projects and tasks as assigned by area manager.

What our Merchandise Stocker does:

• Responsible for learning and performing in-store service, managing inventory replenishment (ordering and stocking), generating weekly credits and providing exceptional customer service within a defined territory inside high volume national account stores
• THIS IS A LABOR INTESIVE POSITION
• Stock, organize, and maintain moulding inventory to ensure materials are readily available.


• CLEANING: Recovering the condition of the aisle since last service.
• STRAIGHTENING STOCK: Restocking messy bins or displays and resolving bin contamination.
• STOCKING: Packing out any freight in overhead and incoming freight from the previous weeks order.
• CULLING: Removing damaged/unsellable material and issuing credit electronically.
• MERCHANDISING: Maintain signage and pricing to best practice. Move backers to affect perception.
• ORDERING: Replenish inventory according to published guidelines.
• CUSTOMER INTERACTION:Build strong dependable relationships with store management and associates.
• PROJECTS AND TASKS:Merchandising projects and tasks will be assigned by area manager.
• Complete tasks, projects and resets of Woodgrain products in stores

What you need to have:
