Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a supervisor to oversee receiving, sorting, pricing, packing, and distributing merchandise to stores. You will ensure timely processing in compliance with policies and regulations, and drive efficiency and quality in sorting activities.

Ideal candidates have six months of retail sorting/pricing experience and some supervisory exposure, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months experience sorting and pricing merchandise in a retail environment.
• Retail environment experience preferred.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in receiving, sorting, pricing, packing and distributing merchandise to ensure efficient, timely processing.
• Ensures sorting activities maximize efficiency, productivity and quality control in line with Salvation Army policies and regulations.
• Acts as liaison to store personnel to ensure stores receive the needed merchandise.
