Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Miami Warehouse in Miami, FL is seeking a full-time Store Associate to handle receiving, sorting, pricing, packing and distributing merchandise. This role ensures efficient processing and quality control in line with Salvation Army policies and local regulations.

Responsibilities include liaison with store personnel to ensure stores receive the needed merchandise, while maintaining accuracy and timely operations in a fast-paced retail warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience sorting and pricing merchandise in a retail environment, with supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and participates in receiving, sorting, pricing, packing and distributing merchandise.
• Ensures items processed efficiently, with quality control and in compliance with Salvation Army policies and regulations.
• Serves as liaison to store personnel to ensure stores receive needed merchandise.

Job Location: ARC-MIAMI ARC WAREHOUSE - Miami, FL 33127, Position Type: Full Time Regular, Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly, Job Category: Store, Supervises and participates in the receiving, sorting, pricing, packing, and distributing of merchandise ensuring all items are processed in an efficient, effective and timely manner in accordance with established Salvation Army policies and procedures and local, state and federal regulations; ensures that all sorting activities are conducted in a manner that will provide maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality control; serves as liaison to store personnel to ensure stores receive the needed merchandise

Qualifications

Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred, and six months experience sorting and pricing merchandise in a retail environment with some supervisory experience preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
