Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking a Sorter to process merchandise efficiently in our warehouse. You will receive, sort, price, pack and distribute items while ensuring adherence to Salvation Army policies and procedures and local regulations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and about six months of sorting and pricing experience in retail. The role requires physical ability to lift and move items and to maintain a clean, safe work area in a warehouse

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months experience sorting and pricing merchandise in a retail environment or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, price, pack and distribute merchandise.
• Sort merchandise into price bins based on quality and condition.
• Keep the sorting area clean and orderly and maintain equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Salvation Army policies and procedures and safety rules.
