Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek, GA, is seeking a Merchandise Receiving Specialist (Part Time) to join the Golf Pro Shop. The role emphasizes accurate receiving, inventory control, and friendly member service in a fast-paced club environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf merchandise, equipment, and apparel for accurate receiving and inventory.
• Strong communication and teamwork to serve members and guests.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support AAC core values and member-focused service daily.
• Communicate with Members about status of special-order merchandise.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise; ensure sales-floor readiness.
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory management to maintain accurate records and stock levels.
• Enter purchase orders and receipts into the inventory system.
• Price, tag, and display merchandise per Club standards.
• Process special-order documentation and coordinate pricing with Director of Retail.
• Handle merchandise returns with documentation and shipments for credit.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and storage area.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by manager.

Merchandise Receiving Specialist – Part Time

Essential Job Functions:

• Support the purpose and core values of Atlanta Athletic Club through daily actions and member-focused service
• Communicate with Members regarding the status and arrival of special-order merchandise
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming merchandise daily, ensuring products are sales-floor ready in a timely manner
• Prepare, package, and ship outgoing merchandise accurately and efficiently
• Assist with inventory management and control to maintain accurate merchandise records and stock levels
• Enter purchase orders, merchandise receipts, and other inventory-related transactions into the inventory management system
• Price, tag, and prepare merchandise for display and sale in accordance with Club standards
• Process special-order requests by preparing order documentation and coordinating pricing with the Director of Retail
• Process merchandise returns, including documentation, packaging, and shipment to manufacturers for credit
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure stockroom and storage area
• Assist with monthly physical inventory counts and reconciliation activities as directed
• Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Maintain a working knowledge of golf merchandise, equipment, and apparel to ensure accurate receiving, inventory management, and product organization
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Possess a positive attitude and be ready to collaborate effectively with others
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Must be able to stand, bend, and reach for up to 4-6 hours
• Demonstrate a willingness to grow in all areas of the Golf Merchandise/Pro Shop operations
