Job summary

TJX is seeking a retail associate in Morgantown, WV. You will execute receiving and merchandising standards, engage customers, and help maintain a clean, well-organized store to deliver an excellent customer experience.

You should be able to work nights and weekends, communicate well, multi-task, train others, and lift heavy objects as needed while supporting store goals and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and adapting to changes in direction.
• Able to train others and work as part of a team.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise processing.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Maintains merchandising signage and cleanliness standards.
• Communicates priorities and progress updates to management.
