Job summary

Goodwill-of-Greater-Washington- seeks an Inventory Associate to work with the retail team in a fast-paced environment, sorting, processing, and preparing donated merchandise for display and sale in the store. You will perform essential duties to ensure items are ready for sale and kept organized.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining a neat appearance. Excellent donor/customer service is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Transfers merchandise to determine appropriateness for the sales floor.
• Sorts apparel and merchandise for display and sale.
• Prepares items for the sales floor and logs items processed.
• Maintains safety and security practices and reports hazards.
• Provides excellent service to donors and customers.
