Job summary

Northwest X Southern Hospitality is seeking a team member to sort, price, and prepare donated items for display and sale in the store. You will inspect items, price them using the pricing machine, tag with adhesive labels, and place them in the correct spots to support efficient pricing and merchandising.

The role requires standing for extended periods, working evenings and weekends, and assisting with training colleagues while meeting production and quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
  • Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
  • Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
  • Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
  • Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
  • Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
  • Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.
  • CARRF: Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards.
  • Safety: Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.
  • Outcome Driven: Uses strategic objectives to drive performance and improve Goodwill's value to the community.

Education And/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.

Salary: $14.25 per hour
