Job summary

Northwest X Southern Hospitality is seeking a store associate to sort, price, and prepare donated items for display and sale in our Saline, MI location.

You will inspect items for quality, place them for pricing, and prepare household goods following store standards. Evening and weekend availability is required to meet store goals.

Experience in sales is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is encouraged. Salary is $14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; sales experience beneficial.
• Ability to stand for up to two hours at a time and perform physical tasks.

• Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
• Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
• Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
• Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
• Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
• Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.
