Job Summary

Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store.

Essential Functions

1. Inspect donated items for overall quality and determine disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
2. Place items in appropriate locations for pricing and/or distribution.
3. Prepare household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
4. Use pricing machine, adhesive price tags, and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
5. Meet or exceed goals and standards of production and quality.
6. Accomplish assigned cleaning routine.
7. Assist in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
