Macy's is seeking an entry-level Merchandise Assistant to provide merchant support for Digital, Buying, and Creative teams. This role focuses on photography planning, PO creation, and site merchandising to enable product displays and timely execution.

You will collaborate across departments, own tasks, and drive results in a fast-paced retail environment. The position emphasizes operational excellence, communication, and accountability to help advance toward an Assistant Buyer role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent encouraged to apply.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and interpret data, including bar graphs.
• Flexibility in scheduling based on department and company needs.

Responsibilities

• Generate ad hoc reports in Excel for PO, POS, price changes, and daily sales data.
• Assist in maintaining the purchase order logbook with vendors and buying team.
• Own the PO creation process and ensure item maintenance with internal teams.
